About the cellist

Musician and cello player Emily Williams will be performing at sunset overlooking the Jamison Valley and escarpment stunning views. You can check her solo music project Night Diver. Her main instrument remains at the centre, augmented by multi layered sounds of effected cello, sampled glass, steel & voice. The multiple layers of cello and shimmering electronics are slowly interwoven evoking anticipation, longing, and stillness. The music is emotionally charged with revolving arpeggios which drift around a motif of atmospheric, low end drone-like ambience, disquieting moody melodies & airy experimental minimalism. Live events are performed in unusual settings. Previous performances have included caves in south west France, outdoor amphitheatres, viewing platforms, look out points and
other acoustically resonant, awe inspiring intriguing spaces.
