About your Guide

Dimitri Douchin, PhD is an astrophysicist, cultural astronomer and TEDx speaker. He is the co-founder of Blue Mountains Stargazing (Bronze Winner of 2022 and 2023 NSW Tourism Awards in the Tour Operator category) and Jervis Bay Stargazing with his fiancée Caroline.

Born in France, they’ve been living for a decade in Australia and are currently based in Jervis Bay where they run seaside stargazing experiences with the sounds of the waves —with bioluminescence and shooting stars on lucky nights.
